The
Paul Bunyan Trail and the
Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway, both
accessible right from our property, are
enjoyed by thousands of visitors a year
who enjoy biking, in-line skating,
hiking, and snowmobiling the trails. In
addition, enjoy over 1200 miles of
groomed snowmobile trails. Click here to

worry if you don't have your own sled,
rent one from
SPR MOTORSPORTS right
along the Trail. Plus our
color-coded trail system makes traveling
easy.

Cross Country Skiiing:
Nordic skiers will discover 240 miles of
groomed and ungroomed ski trails.
They will take you thour a variety of
forests and landscapes. Some
trails even have lighted sections for
nighttime skiing.
Downhill Skiing/Snowboarding and
Tubing: Area visitors that
want to downhill ski will find fun and
family-style skiing at SKI GULL.
The facility features 13 runs,
chairlifts, rentals and refreshements.
Prime Time Snowtubing in Breezy Point is
also a great place to spend an afternoon
of fun.
Ice Fishing: Some
anglers feel that the fishing in the
area only gets better when the lakes
freeze over. Anglers can catch
walleye, crappies, bass, sunfish,
northern pike and yellow perch. There
are area resorts that have fish/spear
house rentals available.
Spring and Summer
Bring your boat and your canoe. Almost 500 lakes provide
fishing, boating and swimming
opportunities like no other place in
Minnesota. To assist your group for
a canoeing, kayaking or biking adventure

Golfing is quickly becoming one
of the most popular ways to enjoy the
lakes area. Golf on more than 27 courses
with over 400 holes. With several
championship courses designed by the
game's top designers, the area is
becoming famous for some of the finest
golf in the nation. And don't forget to

which includes a 9-hole par 3 golf
course, driving range and miniature golf
course.

Summer may be what you think of when
going to the "lakes area", but winter
offers many activities, also. In
addition to the fine snowmobiling, you
may want to try ice fishing,
cross-country skiing,
snowshoeing or even
downhill skiiing . And winter
time is quieter and more affordable.
